Queers & Comics Conference \u00ad\u2014 April 14-15, 2017<\/b>
\npresented by California College of the Arts, San Francisco, CA<\/p>\n

145 US and international LGBTQ cartoonists, scholars, and publishers participated on 43 panels and workshops.<\/p>\n

Keynote speakers:<\/em> Gengoroh Tagame and Mariko Tamaki<\/p>\n

Queer Creatures,<\/strong> a limited-edition tote bag, was created with art donated by 40 LGBTQ cartoonists and sold via Northwest Press.<\/p>\n

Over 400 attended the conference. Over 300 attended the additional events.<\/p>\n
